Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on different types of floors. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behaviour.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did an excellent job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to rinse out the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. However, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned and dried at the base station, if needed.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled as needed. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it could get stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation as required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station if required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra Robot vacuum and mop [https://Medikamente.swica.ch/index/language/l/de/url/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cucm9ib3R2YWN1dW1tb3BzLnVrLw] were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation system is nimble that can navigate tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than other models However, it tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, change the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get live video surveillance. However, you will need a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at removing dirt and debris but they're not able to get every bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to clean dust from corners, on shelves, robot vacuum and mop and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed specifically for this purpose. It's simple to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it does not have mopping capabilities, and also has an aluminum body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 still offers the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic vacuum and mop robot-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic vacuum and mop water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area rug, but it was unable to remove kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot cleaner vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. It also collects dust in a larger bin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
