The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of the object it comes across to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum robot vac from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who want both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to tell if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your home simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they can be pricey at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a place which many robot vacuums often fail. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses along walls or in corners.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas or adjust your home map, or change the room's label.
If you opt for the Q5+ it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once installed, the process of emptying the bin is simple. It features a large LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't essential for everyone, but it can help easily keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are among the best on the market however it's expensive.
The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate various tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tried that does a really good job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the home. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does it all.
If you're looking to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine There are many other great choices on the market with a wide range of eufy models priced significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features like stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

The way the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its competitors. It makes use of an integrated map to make an image of the immovable items in its path. It can remember the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.
The elegant G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has a similar battery life, and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries to restrict it from certain areas. The G30, on the other hand is less expensive and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be emptied as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
