This 2.5 year program focuses on the technique of work treatment, emphasising the use of previous abilities and expertise to enhance the efficiency of OT technique and the growth of sophisticated adult understanding skills for continuous professional advancement.
The program is developed to build on your previous researches with the concepts of job-related therapy practice and see you develop the interdisciplinary expertise and specialist skills needed to exercise as an OT. You'll embark on a series of research-focused programs and complete innovative training masters degree in occupational therapy clinical reasoning and health and wellness research, furthering your understanding of the function of proof in work-related therapy technique.
The program code for the Master of Work-related Therapy Research Studies is 5147. Grads of the program will be eligible to rest for the nationwide qualification assessment for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Accreditation in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
The Australian Government has accepted this master's program for income support repayments to be made to eligible pupils. Throughout the program, you'll carry out more than 1000 hours of supervised professional positionings in UQ's Occupational Treatment Facilities situated at the St Lucia university and in healthcare facilities, colleges and other healthcare organisations.
